The first months of 2026 in the sign of KISS. Mr. Speed – the best tribute band to the legendary KISS is coming to the Czech Republic
Although the original American band KISS said goodbye to Czech fans in the summer of 2023 with their last concert at the O2 Arena, the rock band lives on thanks to Mr. Speed. They will visit the Czech Republic as part of their tour and at the end of January 2026 they will play their most famous hits together with the Czech Symphony Orchestra.
You can look forward not only to the band and the orchestra, but also to an elaborate spectacle of special effects and, of course, pyrotechnics. Not for nothing is Mr. Speed twice awarded the distinction of being the world’s best KISS tribute band.
Mr. Speed received one of these awards from the legendary Tommy Thaver of the legendary KISS himself at the Hard Rock Casino in Las Vegas in 2012, where the Best KISS Tribute Band contest was held. There were over 200 tribute bands from all over the world!
Three decades on the scene
“For 30 years we’ve been trying to give our best. We don’t have a battle plan, but a love for KISS, the band that gave each of us a reason to live. From modest suits to custom costumes, from a simple banner to stage decorations. Mr. Speed stopped at nothing to be here with you,” the members of the tribute band send a message to the Czech Republic and promise that Rock’n’Roll fans really have something to look forward to.
“Iconic make-up and guitars, your memories and dreams will come alive with Mr. Speed and the Czech Symphony Orchestra. Together as one to celebrate the legend known as KISS.”
Fire show and costumes
So mark your calendars: 30 January 2026 in Prague at Forum Karlín, 31 January 2026 in Ostrava at Aula Gong and 1 February 2026 in Brno at Starez Arena Vodova.
You can look forward to unique costumes and the whole kissáck show as you know it. And of course the biggest hits like Crazy Crazy Nights, Rock and Roll all nite, I was made for lovin’ you, God gave Rock’n’Roll to you, Heaven’s on fire and so on.
Mr. Speed prides himself on authenticity not only visually, but also internally, so you will leave the concert with an experience like a real Kiss. “Paul Stanley personally told us: You are the link between us and the fans. We take that statement very seriously. KISS lives in all of us and together we can move mountains. With the utmost respect, we thank KISS. For creating something that has given us meaning as individuals, and for allowing us to share it with others as a KISS Tribute Band and in some small way validating that our imitation is meant from the heart and that we are honored to stand in their shadow.”
After the show, the members of Mr. Speed are accustomed to meeting fans where they willingly sign autographs and take pictures.
The official Kiss band
Kiss was founded in 1973 by musicians Paul Stanley, Gene Simmons, Ace Frehley and Peter Criss. They are known for their simple, punchy music that straddles the line between glam rock and hard rock, with painted faces, wild costumes, lolling tongues and other fads. Their biggest hits include Rock And Roll All Nite and I Was Made For Lovin’ You, both from the second half of the 1970s. In 2019, the band has scheduled their final End of the Road World Tour, this capping off their 45+ year career. The band played their last concert in the Czech Republic on June 10, 2023.
