PALAYE ROYALE returns to Prague! You loved them as Zdena at Rock for People 2024, you loved them at the RfP afterparty in Brno, and we say that there are never enough Palaye Royale concerts. That’s why, for this year’s third of all good things, we bring you another pumped-up show. As part of the Death or Glory Tour, Palaye Royale will perform at Forum Karlín on December 10, thus playing the biggest solo headline concert in the Czech Republic to date.
Equal parts Britpop, glam rock and art punk, Palaye Royale have amassed more than half a billion streams throughout their career, earning legions of loyal fans around the world with their adrenaline-pumping rock’n’roll circus. Brothers Remington Leith (vocals), Sebastian Danzig (guitar) and Emerson Barrett (drums), who grew up in Las Vegas, first found themselves in Los Angeles as teenagers, going through the unforgiving Los Angeles rock scene from playing in a basement, living in a car, to to headlining arenas around the world and touring with bands like Yungblud, Rob Zombie, Korn and more.
In 2022, the band released their fourth consecutive album, Fever Dream. This was created after a necessary break – the musicians returned to their roots and composed most of the album on the piano. The result is equally somewhere between an ecstatic rush and a deep meditation on the state of the human psyche. In addition, it is Palaye Royale’s most daring and visionary work to date.
With fast dirty rock’n’roll and unrivaled swing, Palaye Royale endlessly deliver a fascinating live show, during which Remington often performs even acrobatic stunts. And whether they perform at major festivals such as Reading and Leeds, Download, Pinkpop and Rock for People, or play to sold-out crowds in far-flung locations such as Amsterdam, Prague or Mexico City, they have only one ambition – to deepen the rare connection with their beloved by a fanbase affectionately nicknamed The Soldiers of the Royal Council.
