Norwegian megastar, DJ and producer Alan Walker will perform in Prague. Alan Walker is rightly called one of the most influential figures on the electronic music scene. He rose to fame in 2015 with the hit song Faded, which is currently the 28th most watched video on YouTube with over 3.6 billion views. It dominated the charts worldwide and also became the most searched song in the world on the Shazam app shortly after its release.
Alan Walker will perform on March 15, 2025 at the Karlín Forum. Tickets priced at CZK 995 will be on sale from June 28, 2024 at Ticketmaster and Ticketportal. Fource Friends membership will have priority access to tickets two days early. Just register on the organizer’s website fource.cz.
Since the breakthrough megahit Faded, the twenty-six-year-old Norwegian DJ and producer has released four studio albums and fifty-five singles. “Consumption of music these days is incredibly fast. Quanta of music hits the market every day, which forces us to constantly add to our own catalog in order to stay relevant,” said Walker, promising to release one new item every month this year. One of today’s most commercially successful producers admits that the financial aspect is not his main driving force: “Obviously, when you’re choosing which way to go, you have to take money into account. But it’s important to love what you do and find joy in it.”
Other successful singles and collaborations with artists such as Ava Max, Hans Zimmer, Sia, Bruno Mars and Coldplay followed. He released his debut Different World in 2018. Since then he has played more than 650 shows, including performances at the biggest festivals such as Coachella or Tomorrowland. The album Walkerworld (2023) is his latest leap into uncharted artistic waters, on which Steve Aoki or Daya are guests.
