Holki is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special anniversary concert at the Karlín Forum

Exactly twenty-five years ago, Petr Fider decided to found a girl band. He began his search at the Prague Conservatory, where he chose Radana, Katka, Nikola and Klára from several girls. The very next day, the girls recorded their first single “Už mi nevolej” and with the nameless group, Petr Fider began visiting publishing companies to find support for his project. Shortly after, a contract was signed with the Monitor EMI publishing house, which suggested the name of the group Holki. Although the girls didn’t like the name at first, with time they had to admit that it was a great idea.

In June 1999, the single “Už mi nevolej” was released on the radio and became an instant hit. The girls started going on show after show, their albums won gold and platinum records for successful sales, and in the Czech Nightingale poll in 2000 they won the bronze nightingale in the Group of the Year category. After five years of a successful career, the girls decided to take a break and focus on their solo projects. In 2008, they decided to return to working together, but the fourth member, Klára Kolomazníková, refused to return to the group, because she wanted to devote herself fully to her solo career. The girls respected this decision and continued their new work as a trio.

The Holki group has been performing successfully for many years, their performances entertain the audience, and their best-known hits such as “Jsi senzační”, “Už mi nevolej”, “Vzpomínky zůstanou” and the newer song “Kolotoč” still resonate with fans, including younger audiences.

In the past twenty-five years, Holki has released more than 70 songs, established many collaborations and met a lot of great and not-so-great people. They decided to summarize all these experiences and successes at their annual concert, organized by ZP promo on October 24, 2024 at the Karlín Forum. This concert will also be unique in that, after a long time and for the last time, Holki will perform in the original line-up: Radana, Katka, Nikola and Klára. Other guests will also perform with the Girls, making the evening even more special.

Come celebrate 25 years of Holki with us at their anniversary concert and experience an unforgettable evening full of music and memories.
