Doors open 19:00
Concert Starts at 20:30

The Norwegian project Wardruna emerged from the metal scene in 2003 and is mainly devoted to the rendering of ancient Nordic traditions in the context of contemporary times. The band’s work could be classified under the genres of neofolk, drone music or ambient and uses historical instruments such as tagelharpa or goat horns. The music of this project also appeared in the well-known series Vikings from Netflix.

Wardruna released her last album, Kvitravn, which was very well received by critics, in 2021. This was followed by the release of the single Voluspá with the Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra. Now the project begins a new cycle of her work with the current single Hertan, for which she also released a video clip.

Wardruna’s last concert took place under Loket Castle and had a truly magical atmosphere, culminating in a thunderstorm at the end of the evening. This year, the band will perform at Foru Karlín at their biggest concert in the Czech Republic to date. It will be part of an extensive world tour including stops such as the Royal Albert Hall or the Oslo Opera House.

Ticket sales will start on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 10 a.m. in the Ticketmaster and Ticketportal pre-sale networks. The concert is brought by Charmenko CZ.
