Bert & Friends will celebrate the release of their first album at Forum Karlín with a concert as big as an elephant.
Bert & Friends has long been one of the most original Czech groups, which during its existence has created both a large fan base and recognition in artistic circles. In addition to sold-out concerts, cult recordings and colorful video clips, the band moves across the art scene – the group appears in productions of the National Theater or Cirque la Putyka, frontman and singer Albert Romanutti is also a film maker and composer. The peak of creative playfulness was the piano performance of his songs in the sold-out Rudolfinum in November 2023.
The band doesn’t release new songs very often, so the big event will be the release of a new record next fall, which will be the band’s first full-length album after several singles and an EP.
“The whole board will be like an island, somewhere you can go on a trip, or stay there, like me,” says Albert.
The band will end the busy year on November 23rd with a concert at Forum Karlín, where they will christen the new record, and as usual you can expect an unconventional and unique event. It will also be the band’s only solo concert of the year.

“The concert at Forum Karlín is as big as an elephant for us,” adds Albert, who conquered Prague’s Rudolfinum with the band in November, where they performed as part of the Prague Sounds festival with a musical set by Klasirdo. In the sold-out Dvořák Hall, they received three standing ovations from the audience.
