TOM ODELL GOES ON BIGGEST TOUR OF HIS CAREER. HE WILL COME TO THE KARLÍN FORUM IN MARCH
Singer-songwriter Tom Odell will embark on the biggest tour of his career in March next year. He will present the new album Black Friday on it, which will be released on January 26. Czech fans will see Tom’s concert on March 28, when he will perform at Karlín Forum in Prague. Tickets for CZK 990 + fees go on sale on Friday, October 27 at 11:00 a.m. and can be purchased at Ticketportal and Ticketmaster. The winner of the prestigious BRIT and Ivor Novello awards has had an impressive decade, releasing five great albums that have earned him 28 million monthly listeners on Spotify and four billion plays on streaming platforms. With the album Black Friday, Tom Odell enters the next musical chapter of his career armed with a newfound sense of creative freedom and the creative process.
The songs were recorded simply by Tom in the studio with the guitar in his lap with the same simplicity and authenticity as when he composed them. Tom has shared two samples from the new record so far, the track Somebody Else, which he released alongside the new album announcement, and the title track Black Friday. It was released at the end of September and was one of the biggest UK chart jumpers of recent times, and with 2 million streams in one day, it catapulted Tom into the top 100 most streamed artists in the world. The Black Friday ballad also resonates on TikTok, where it has already recorded 150 million plays. Similar viral success was achieved in 2022 by Tom’s big hit Another Love. He got 4 million creates on TikTok, over 2 billion streams and placed in the Top 10 UK Official Chart. The song also became an anthem in protest videos against the war in Ukraine.
