Tublatanka celebrates 40 years with a new album and a spectacular tour! The leading Slovak rock band Tublatanka has a very rich history behind it. It was formed around 1982 and in the following decades brought hits such as Pravda víťazí, Žeravé znamenie osudu, Láska, drž ma nad hladinou, Šlabikár, Skúsime to cez vesmír, Priateľ, Dnes and many others.
During its existence, Tublatanka released eleven consecutive albums and now, after eleven years, she comes with a new record! For her, the current form of the band consisting of Maťo Ďurinda, Juraj Topor and Peter Schlosser prepared fourteen new songs. On the occasion of this news and at the same time the 40th anniversary, this trio is going on their first real tour of the Czech Republic under the name “Dobrí priatelia”!
The legend of the Czechoslovak rock scene will visit thirteen prestigious places during the autumn of 2023. Argema will perform as a special guest at all concerts of the tour! Coincidentally, she reached the same milestone this year.
“Tublatanka Dobrí priatelia tour” starts on September 28 in Pilsen and ends at Prague’s Fórum Karlín and Ostrava’s winter stadium on November 28 and 30. For the tour, the band and their guest are planning special playlists, a captivating show with a special stage, effects and an unforgettable musical experience. After all, it will be the first full-fledged tour in such a rich history of the band and the combination of the presentation of the new album with the round anniversary. Definitely don’t miss it!
