The epidemic has interrupted their tour, but is now returning to the concert stage. European fans will see this Australian formation in September, when the Prague stop is also planned. Parkway Drive will perform at the Karlín Forum on September 10, 2022. They will be accompanied on the indoor tour, which currently consists of eighteen concerts, by a metalcore band from British Sheffield – While She Sleeps.
Australian Parkway Drive has released six studio albums since its inception in 2003, all of which have been in the top ten in the ARIA sales chart. The last of them was the recording “Reverence” from 2018, which won the band their second victory in the ARIA Awards in the category “best hard rock / heavy metal album”.
In 2020, they released the documentary Viva the Underdogs, which charts Parkway Drive’s 15-year journey to fame, from its hardcore beginnings to dominating European festivals in 2019, and captures the ups and downs of the band, disputes and euphoria over success.
In March, the documentary received a soundtrack of the same name, which recorded Parkway Drive’s performance at the iconic Wacken Open Air in 2019 and three songs sung by Parkway Drive frontman Winston McCall in German – “Würgegriff (Vice Grip)”, “Die Leere (The Void)” ”And“ Shadow Boxing ”, hosted by German rapper Casper.
Advance ticket sales will begin on Friday, November 12, 2021 at 11 a.m. on the Ticketmaster network. At the same time, the organizers confirm that tickets purchased on the original date of April 12, 2021 remain valid.
Ticket holders who are not satisfied with the new date and would like to return it can do so until November 24, 2021. It will not be possible to comply with requests for a refund of the entrance fee after this deadline.
